I recently celebrated New Year at a hotel that was beautifully decorated according to the style of a significant period in recent history, which I found fascinating. the key location was perfect, with easy access to all the major tourist spots. I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms were consistent with the advertised photos, and the cleanliness was superb.
The hotel used twin beds on wheels pushed together to represent a double bed. Had I been staying with a partner, it would have been a big issue.

We loved the interior design of this hotel, which perfectly captured the essence of the post-war construction era. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were fantastic. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with transportation and parking options during our stay. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the breakfast was delicious with a great range of options.
Almost perfect.

I spent my Christmas holidays in a cozy and beautifully decorated apartment. The furniture and color scheme reminded me of the 50s-60s, which was very interesting. the apartment was located in the heart of the town, which made it easy for me to walk to all the main attractions. The apartment also had a fully equipped kitchen that allowed me to cook for myself, which I enjoyed as I love to cook.
The bed wasn't the best. It was made up of two twin beds on wheels that didn't make for a comfortable double bed.

The interior design was magnificent, reflecting the history of Heligoland. Convenient location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations added to the overall experience. The attention to detail and the preservation of the 50s-60s style were remarkable. A true gem in Heligoland.
Couldn't fault a thing.

Located in a historical area, the design of the rooms truly reflects the colorful and distinctive style of its significant era. the beds, albeit on wheels, were comfortable enough and the bathroom was spotless. Despite not having a view, the tranquility and silence of the location made up for it. the breakfast was delicious and the amenities in the room were certainly a plus, particularly the Wi-Fi.
The lack of a proper double bed, which could be an issue for couples.
